Christmas @ FreeChurch
Christmas is a time to celebrate the meaningful gifts of hope, peace, and joy that arrived when Jesus Christ was born. We would love to celebrate this amazing holiday with you! If you're thinking about joining us during this season, here is what you can expect.
Advent
Each Sunday during the Advent season, we will focus on a particular part of the Christmas story. This happens through the singing of Christmas carols, seasonal scripture readings, lighting the advent wreath, special music pieces, and culminating with our Christmas Eve candlelight service. It's a wonderful time for the entire family to focus on the true meaning of the season.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Who
This event is designed for your entire family, so there will be no childcare. We use real candles for adults and battery-operated candles for children so all ages can participate.
What
During this special candlelight service, we'll sing traditional Christmas music, hear the Christmas story from the Bible, see the lighting of the Advent Wreath, and listen to a brief message. All attire is welcome so you can dress up or keep it casual. Safety candles are available for little ones so they can participate too!
